Trader Joe Receives an Arbitrum DAO Grant
Trader Joe has been awarded a ‘Short Term Incentive Plan - Bridge’ grant by the Arbitrum DAO. This grant, following a successful vote of approval, builds on the well-received STIP Grant from November 2023. In total, 755,000 ARB tokens have been allocated to Trader Joe, all will be distributed to users through incentivization. LFJ.
Reward Distribution Plan:
655,000 ARB for Concentrated Incentives
50,000 ARB for ‘New to Arbitrum’ Teams/Tokens
50,000 ARB for the Galactica Points Campaign
Timeline
Rewards will be distributed over a consecutive 12 week period starting on the 18th June and ending on the 17th September.
During the incentive period, markets with allocated rewards will be reviewed every 2 weeks and allocations may be adjusted based on wider market dynamics. There may also be incentives that stop in markets or markets that open with added incentives.
How can I start earning rewards?
Concentrated Incentives (CI) is an onchain reward mechanism for Liquidity Providers (LPs) in Liquidity Book Pools. CI provides instant, continuous rewards, similar to traditional yield farming but optimized for v2 (Concentrated Liquidity). When you deposit your liquidity, if that liquidity is within the defined ‘reward range’, you start accruing reward tokens immediately. As the price of the tokens in the LB pool moves, the reward range in the LB Pool also adjusts with the price, encouraging you to keep your liquidity within this dynamic range.

Claim ARB tokens as they are distributed (you must be within the reward range)

Arbitrum Galactica
The Galactica Campaign is an additional points program, on top of the ARB Rewards being supplied to Liquidity Book Pools. The UI will feature a ‘G’ icon, this indicates there are additional rewards in the form of ‘Galactica Points’. Users supplying liquidity in these pools, can earn ARB + Points during the 3 month campaign. At the end of the campaign, a users total Galactica Points will rank them into a leaderboard, where they will share additional rewards.
