Introducing: Arbitrum Galactica
Trader Joe invites you to embark on a galactic-sized adventure. This three-month-long voyage offers an unmatched level of immersion combined with 755,000 $ARB tokens as incentives (+ cosmic vibes). Provide liquidity, participate in community events, solve riddles, accrue points, and unlock the riches of the Arbitrum Galactica.
Trader Joe Receives an Arbitrum DAO Grant
Trader Joe has been awarded a ‘Short Term Incentive Plan - Bridge’ grant by the Arbitrum DAO. This grant, following a successful vote of approval, builds on the well-received STIP Grant from November 2023. In total, 755,000 ARB tokens have been allocated to Trader Joe, all will be distributed to users through incentivization. LFJ.

Arbitrum Galactica: How does it work?
Galactica will introduce a points tracking system into selected Liquidity Book Pools. When a user supplies liquidity into these selected pools, positions will be tracked throughout the entire campaign period, with snapshots taken every two weeks and standings updated via a role system hosted in the Trader Joe Guild.
Timeline
The Galactica campaign spans three months in total, starting on the 18th of June and consisting of three phases, each phase being one month long with the end date on the 17th of September. Every phase will host up to a maximum of four Liquidity Book Pools. At the end of each phase, new markets will be selected, providing users with exposure to different partners involved in the campaign.
How to Accrue Galactica Points
Points: Supply liquidity to Galactica Pools to earn points over time
Criteria: Only liquidity within the +2/-2% active bin range will accrue points
Full Explanation: When you provide liquidity only the portion that is within the +2/-2% range of the Active Bin (current market price) will accrue points. You can supply liquidity in wider ranges, but only the liquidity within that specific range, will be tracked and accrue points. The aim of accruing the most Galactica Points, is therefore to manage your liquidity efficiently by ensuring you always have liquidity within the points accruing range.
Snapshots: Every two weeks a snapshot is taken and your points are calculated and ranked against other Liquidity Providers. There is a fixed 1m amount of points to share at every snapshot period therefore, over the total duration of the campaign 6m points will be up for grabs.
Trader Joe reserves the right to make adjustments to the rules of the program in the event of any foul play. If any wallet is clearly manipulating an outcome in their favor, they will be banned.

Galactica Roles
Galactica features a tiered role system established on the Trader Joe Guild Community. Roles are determined by the points accrued and are updated every two weeks following a points snapshot. Roles are cumulative over the campaign’s duration, meaning the points you earn will build up over the total campaign duration.
Expeditions: Earn ARB + Points Boosters
Expeditions are story-based riddle quests shared every two weeks. Expeditions come with a first-come, first-serve reward chance and provide all participants with an immersive story-like experience and participation prize on top of FCFS token rewards.
What is an Expedition?
A story-riddle adventure.
The first Riddle will be shared on the 27th of June in the Trader Joe Guild.
Every two weeks following that, another story-riddle will be released.
All announcements will be in the Galactica channel in the Trader Joe Discord.
Expedition Rewards
Riddles offer a first-come, first-serve reward for participants.
666 ARB tokens are up for grabs with a total allocation of 4,000 ARB.
Riddles will offer NFT prizes for participants providing a +1% points booster.
All NFTs collected will offer a total sum of +6% to Galactica points accrual.
At the end of the campaign, participants who engaged in every phase will access the Grand Expedition Riddle. This final story-riddle, linked to the previous six, offers substantial rewards:
Grand Prize: 500 ARB to the first participant to solve this riddle.
Runner-up Prizes: NFTs providing a points booster of +4% and a pointers booster for the next major campaign.
Final Standings and Rewards
The end of the 12-week campaign culminates in the final Galactica Points update. A final snapshot is taken with a cumulative position of points updated and any unlocked and claimed points boosters, such as NFTs claimed from Expeditions that can offer a maximum of +10% (+6% from each Riddle and +4% from the final riddle), are included in the final standings. A public spreadsheet will also be shared.
The final rankings will then determine the reward distribution.
Top 100 (Achieving the Galactica Role): Share 35,000 ARB
This will be split under a 0.8 power formula based on total Galactica Points accrued
Top 101 to 250 (Achieving the Trailblazer Role): Share 10,000 ARB
This is equally split for all (approximately 66 ARB each)
Additionally, every participant receives a final NFT and an attestation to commemorate their participation, marking their journey and achievements in the Galactica campaign forever.
