Joe Studios: The Way Forward

TLDR: Joe Studios continues to build on Avalanche, doubling down on existing portfolio.

The upcoming expansion of Joepegs onto BNB Smart Chain (BSC) is an exciting step forward for the Joepegs Marketplace. We believe that there are new opportunities for collaboration, bringing exposure to Avalanche and Joe Studios. 

We’re not migrating.

Launched in the spring of 2022, the rise of Joepegs can be attributed in part to Joe Studios, the marketplace’s in-house NFT production wing. Bootstrapping #FullSendSummer on Avalanche with Smol Joes, followed by Smol Lands and Creeps, Rich Peon Poor Peon and Plague Game, to-date Joe Studios projects has traded over 80K AVAX on Joepegs alone. 

While the Joepegs marketplace will expand to support the BNB chain, we are not planning any cross-chain migration of our current NFT brands. Our commitment to fostering premium Web3 communities on Avalanche remains unchanged. 

What’s next for Joe Studios 

Joe Studios was formed to create ground-breaking Web3 experiences. Our expansion to the BNB chain provides us with new exciting growth opportunities. We are also very bullish about our existing NFT brands on Avalanche and will continue to invest significant resources to ensure their long term success. 

Smol Joes 

Those who have followed Smol Joes will know that it is an unlikely success story - 100 free Smol Joe NFTs that have held a consistently high floor price and built a community of AVAX whales. Smol Joes has since spawned two Joe Studios derivative collections, Smol Creeps and Smol Lands - three free mints with a combined trading volume of 37K AVAX. 

To maintain momentum and build upon the unique foundations laid on Avalanche, Joe Studios is focusing on consolidating the Smol Joe's brand, with a view to grow the number of holders and unite the disparate collections that make up We-Smol. This mission has already begun.

Rich Peon, Poor Peon 

Peon holders are famous on Avalanche for two things - 100Xing the floor price from mint and being high energy memers. A key innovation was the launch of Beeg Rock, a sub-community collection entitling holders to mint-list access for Joepegs launchpad events. Since then the Werkers Union and The Pick Axes collections have also been introduced, helping to build the immersive world of the Peons. 

In Q1 2023 we aim to tell the true story of the Peons. V2 will include an upgrade, visually demarking the divisions of poor, middle class and rich peons within the collection. In addition we will also release a website and reveal plans to provide a use-case for the Pick Axe collection. 

Plague Game

The inaugural survival experience has now concluded with 10 winners splitting a pot of 15K AVAX. An experiment in keeping with our mission to push the boundaries of Web 3 experiences, we are exploring improvements to Plague Game’s mechanics as well as building a 3D spinoff PVP game. Conclusion 

Joepegs expansion to the BNB chain provides Joe Studios with the opportunity to reach new audiences. Existing collections on Avalanche will not be migrated and we will continue to invest significant resources to ensure their long term success.
