⭕️ Community Circle Part 1: Community Roles
For the JOE enthusiasts!
The Community Circle packages many of Trader Joe’s core offerings into an accessible rewards track for engaged community members. Participants can choose to specialize or generalize within Trader Joe’s Community Circle, with a variety of categories to suit your DeFi interests.
In Part 1 we will look at the first 3 categories; Indiana Joe, Governance Joe and the Rocket Joe Collector. These quests are ideal for community members who hold JOE and are advocates of the entire Joe ecosystem. As with all Community Circle categories, the ultimate aim is to achieve Rank 4, unlocking our most exclusive tier.
Please note that the specific requirements for upgrading your Community Circle roles may undergo change and evolution to fit with the dynamics of changing community events and activities. The echelon of community hierarchy is focused around Rank 4 Community Roles and Trader Joe will ensure rarity for this Rank is preserved.
INDIANA JOE
Quest & Earn
As the name suggests, this role is best suited to users who are looking for adventure across the entire JOE ecosystem. Participants will embark on quests featured on platforms such as Galxe, Quest3 or other platforms, picking up quest NFT rewards in the process. The more questing you partake in, the higher up the rankings you will climb. This role will be facilitated using Guild.xyz where each role can be unlocked by holding a variety of Quest NFTs.
Once you have begun questing you can start collection rank upgrades and their associated perks. Here’s a breakdown:
GOVERNANCE JOE
Secure a spot in the Governance Council
Governance has recently been introduced as an added utility to the Joe Token and introduces a first step towards an extension of the operational capacity held by the Trader Joe Core Team. Currently, Joe token holders can vote on proposals to open new Liquidity Book markets. But this is just the beginning. The Governance Club is a great way for the community to start shaping the decentralized future of the Trader Joe ecosystem and the remit and mandate of Trader Joe Governance, is ripe for shaping by those who desire and spirit to do so.
To progress through the Governance Joe ranks, all you have to do is participate in Governance by voting on proposals. The more proposals you vote on, the higher up your community governance ranking will go. If you directly propose and succeed with your proposal, you can also climb to the top ranks and be invited into the Governance Council. Council members will in the future be brought in closer and will take a commanding role for all Governance related initiatives. This role will be facilitated using Guild.xyz where wallets that vote on Snapshot proposals are tracked directly.

rJOE COLLECTOR
Show off your Rocket Joe NFTs
Those who have been long-term supporters of Trader Joe will remember Rocket Joe, a protocol built to bootstrap liquidity for new token launches. JOE holders were able to stake their JOE in return for rJOE which were tokens that allowed for entry into Rocket Joe launches. As part of a tokenomics revamp, rJOE staking has been deprecated and rJOE holders were given the ability to mint rJOE NFTs which form a collection of 5 different rarities.
The Rocket Joe role is therefore unlocked by holding a certain amount of rJOE NFTs. In the near-future, when Guild.xyz deploys the capability to do so, the Rocket Joe NFT roles can be unlocked by holding a specific rarity of NFTs within the collection, eg Rank 5 can be unlocked via holding a Nitro Rocket Joe NFT (the most rare and exclusive rarity).
Rocket Joe is a much loved protocol and the Team may at some point revitalize this protocol into a new form. Rocket Joe NFT holders are therefore symbolic but also, shown as a committed segment of the Community that participated in Rocket Joe V1…There are some hints here, but this is just speculation ofc.

The Community Circle is a game-changing innovation by Trader Joe. Everyone in Trader Joe’s discord server will be able to take part, but only the most committed and talented members will achieve the highest ranks, completing a variety of tasks to level up and unlock premium rewards.
